So I saw Black Swan...

…and I was a bit underwhelmed. It seemed rather heavy-handed to me and maybe an eensy bit pretentious for what it ultimately was. The script could definitely have used some work, as Nina’s whole “I just want to be perfect” mantra, though essential to the themes of the movie, came out as being far too heavy-handed (though I hate to use that word again), and unrealistic....
